This color is fabulous, because it's not black— it's way more interesting. It's a dark espresso bean color and the material has an ever so slight sheen to it, so it's really special and expensive looking. Much better than a 1 dimensional black, which works on other dresses, but not so much on this one. I have seen this one (previously sold in black) and it just doesn't have the same wow effect.
The 5 button sleeves, huge side slit, high collar neckline, ruching, all makes for a very dramatic look.
